Security Guard Duties:
Read, understand, and carry out the duties described in the Post Orders.
Communicate regularly with the Community managers.
Conduct foot patrols of the complex. Meet with tenants, introduce yourself, place name to faces and faces to the apartments they reside in.
Patrolling the premises regularly to ensure nothing is out of place.
Liaising with law enforcement in the case of suspected or reported criminal activity.
Performing scheduled and random checks of designated areas (pools, laundry rooms, recreation rooms) throughout the facility to check for any security breaches.
Contact and address parking violations, noise, and loitering violations.
Document any rule or policy infractions and provide information to the designated community manager.
Assist the maintenance staff in securing an area during a maintenance emergency. Notify the proper personnel of maintenance issues.
Mobile Patrols Duties:
Provide constant physical deterrence to deter crime. Vandalism, theft, and trespassers. Escorting homeless campers off property or notifying local law enforcement.
Enforce parking rules. Notification to the assigned towing company.
Address and contact subjects who violate the rules/policies of the facility.
Conduct roving patrols in a random pattern.
Write incident reports and log notes of security and maintenance issues that occurred during the shift.
